Christine Marie Motorsports, Inc. was created in 2004 by Chris Evans, a successful Western Pennsylvania businessman and amateur racer. In 1999, Evans met Chris Cook while attending the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. The two developed a friendship that led Evans to form Christine Marie Motorsports, named after his youngest daughter, to support Cook’s racing career.

Evans formed Christine Marie Motorsports with the goal of becoming a full-time NASCAR team. “My goal is to be involved in this sport the rest of my life. I believe the growth potential and business opportunities are endless in this very unique sport. I am very fortunate to be able to combine my passion for motorsports with my never ending desire of creating business opportunities,” Evans states.

During the 2005 season, Christine Marie Motorsports and Cook entered the four NASCAR road course events: the inaugural Busch Series event in Mexico City, the Nextel Cup event in Sonoma, California, and the Nextel Cup and Busch Series events in Watkins Glen, New York.

For 2006, Christine Marie Motorsports has formed a partnership with the Curb Agajanian Performance Group. This partnership will provide the first class equipment and personnel needed for Chris Cook to compete effectively during the Busch Series season. With a premier pit crew led by championship crew chief Joe Shear, Jr. and the superior power of Evernham Motorsports engines, Cook is prepared to win races in the CAPG Dodge Charger.
