Driver for Locally Owned NASCAR Team
To Meet Racing Fans Saturday at Pittsburgh Women’s Show

Pittsburgh, October 15, 2005 – Chris Cook, a driver for Christine Marie Motorsports, a NASCAR Busch Series team based in Indiana, Pa., will appear at the Pittsburgh Women’s Show on Saturday, October 15, at the Pittsburgh Expo Mart in Monroeville. Cook will be at the booth of The Official NASCAR Members Club of Western Pennsylvania to meet local NASCAR fans and to sign autographs between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

“One of the most enjoyable aspects of what I do is having an opportunity like this to meet the fans who are responsible for having made NASCAR the successful and popular sport that it is today,” remarked Cook, who has competed in select NEXTEL Cup and Busch Series events this season.

Cook’s 15-year racing career has combined driving and instruction. As a driver, he has competed in a wide variety of racing – from sports cars and road racing to the IMSA Firehawk Series, where he finished third in the championship, and his current challenge: NASCAR’s penultimate racing series.

As a driving instructor, Cook has worked with some of the leading NASCAR drivers, such as Tony Stewart, to sharpen their road-racing skills for the NASCAR road course races in which they compete. Cook was the youngest chief instructor at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix, Ariz. It was there where he met Christine Marie Motorsports owner and Indiana, Pa., businessman Chris Evans, who was training at the school to obtain his own Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) racing license.

Recognizing Cook’s superb driving talent and deciding to follow his own dream of becoming a NASCAR team owner, Evans provided Cook the opportunity to fulfill his dream of competing in NASCAR by driving for Christine Marie Motorsports, which is named after Evans’ six-year-old daughter.

Both Cook and Christine Marie Motorsports are completing their inaugural foray into NASCAR racing. The team finished on the lead lap in each of the races in which it competed – ahead of many more experienced drivers and teams.

“We’re extremely pleased with the remarkable progress our team has made this year, and we’re currently working to secure sponsorships for the 2006 Busch Series season,” concluded Evans. “It has all the promise of being an adventuresome experience offering the thrill of a lifetime.” For more information, please visit www.christinemariemotorsports.com.
