Christine Marie Motorsports to Open 2006 Busch Series Season in Mexico with New Team Partners and International Sponsor

Pittsburgh, March 2, 2006 -- Christine Marie Motorsports, Inc. (CMM) will launch its 2006 NASCAR Busch Series campaign at the Telcel-Motorola 200 in Mexico City on March 5 with new partners, Mac Hill Motorsports (Mac Hill) and Curb Agajanian Performance Group (CAPG). The Mac Hill #56 entry will be sponsored in the race by l’Alsace À Paris, which is a premier Mexico City restaurant that is part of Grupo Presidente Intercontinental, a worldwide group manager of fine hotels and restaurants.

Chris Cook will pilot a Dodge Charger built and prepared by Mac Hill and CAPG for a limited schedule in the 2006 Busch Series season. The car will feature a powerplant built by Evernham Motorsports, developers and builders of engines renowned for superior reliability and performance.

Since the work done in the pits during a race is critical to a team’s success, the Mac Hill CAPG/CMM effort in the pits will be supported by the MB2 Motorsports pit crew led by championship crew chief Tony Lambert.

“Mac Hill and CAPG have partnered to bolster their road course programs in order to compete with the Cup-supported Busch programs by benefiting from the expertise of Chris Cook, of the Shift Into Gear School, and his extensive road racing experience,” said Jack McNelly, Mac Hill team owner. “With this association, CAPG crew chief Joe Shear and Tony Lambert will be working together throughout the weekend so that both Mac Hill and CAPG entries can mutually benefit from Chris Cook’s feedback and input throughout the weekend at Mexico City.”

“We are thrilled to be working with organizations whose names are legendary in automobile racing,” said Chris Evans, owner of Christine Marie Motorsports. “CAPG continues a longstanding tradition of a commitment to racing excellence established by the Agajanian family when it began fielding entries in the Indianapolis 500 in the 1950s, and we are thrilled to be working with the likes of Cary Agajanian and Jack Mc Nelly of Mac Hill on this effort for Chris Cook. The combination of Mac Hill and CAPG’s expertise in motorsports and the racing support provided by Dodge will give us the resources that are necessary to maximize Chris Cook’s

driving talents and, in so doing, become consistently competitive in the NASCAR Busch Series,” Evans added.
Evans also announced a sponsorship agreement with l’Alsace À Paris, which was a sponsor of the CMM entry in the 2005 Mexico City race. Located in Mexico City, l’Alsace A Paris is a restaurant renowned for its classic cuisine originating from the Alsace region in eastern France. Under the terms of the sponsorship agreement, a second restaurant, La Taverne, which is scheduled to open this summer in Mexico City, will also participate as a sponsor.

Alejandro Dabdoub, owner of both establishments, pointed out that these are the only privately owned restaurants sponsoring a NASCAR team in Mexico. “The results of our efforts last year demonstrated how a NASCAR sponsorship can improve business. We believe in the program with Christine Marie Motorsports and the team partners,” explained Dabdoub.
“We are delighted to have the sponsorship support of l’Alsace À Paris and La Taverne for this year’s race and to have the opportunity to work with Alejandro and the other first class people who operate these fine businesses,” commented Evans. He continued, “Their sponsorship is an example of how effective marketing with a NASCAR race team can be, even beyond the borders of the United States.”
